Buying a US playstation 3 in the UK ?
I've heard its possible to buy a US ver of the ps3 and use it in the UK, as the games are no longer region coded. but apart from say voltage differences, is there any other consideration worth taking into account before i start checkin ebay ?
Yes, if u were a ps2 gamer and have lots of ps2 games, those UK ps2 games will not play on ur US ps3, this also goes for Bluray and original DVD movies, but yes the ps3 games are not region coded. When buying from ebay READ carefully as u may be buying a Hongkong version ps3 for a cheaper price also look at the % of the seller, if he is below 98% I would advice not to buy from him to avoid a possible scam.
